Problem:

User cannot access PDF files from the shared folder and gets an error message "Access Denied.

When trying  through the web portal, they are able to do so.


Solution:

Change Security setting in Acrobat Reader as follows:

Go to 

Edit

Preferences

1. Uncheck "Enable Protected Mode at Startup"

2. Uncheck "Enable Enhanced Security"

3. Uncheck "Run in AppContainer"
